Outborn Agent Platform · Step-by-step guide
Getting started
Set up an organization, a Space, AI access, connected applications, an agent, and a first conversation.
Before you begin
- Sign in through Outborn Account and select the organization that will own the work.
- Confirm that you can access or create a Space and an eligible AI runtime source.
Follow the workflow
- 01
Choose a Space
Use an existing team Space or create one for this workflow. Check its members and available built-in apps before adding resources.
- 02
Choose model access
Select an available Hosted AI, supported provider-subscription, or provider-API source. Confirm which account supplies the allowance or billing.
- 03
Add only the needed context
Connect the approved application, Knowledge Base, or Data Collection needed for the first task. Review its grants before exposing it to an agent.
- 04
Configure one agent
Give the agent a narrow purpose, instructions, permitted sources and tools, and the right Space access.
- 05
Try a bounded question
Start a conversation with a question whose answer you can verify. Inspect the result and any tool activity before sharing the agent more widely.
The agent can answer the first task within the selected Space, and you can identify the sources and access it used.
Check Space membership, runtime availability, source grants, and the agent's enabled tools before changing the prompt.

Best practices for getting started
Recommended
- Start with one verifiable task and an owner who can inspect its result.
- Connect the smallest set of sources and tools needed for the first trial.
Avoid
- Do not publish a broad agent before checking both an expected request and an out-of-scope request.
How it fits together
01
Organization
Start in the organization that owns the people, policies, subscriptions, and shared resources you intend to use.
02
Spaces and workspaces
Create or select a Space for the team or project. Spaces keep conversations, agents, applications, data, and reusable work in a durable context.
03
First AI configuration
Choose an available runtime source and model. Keep Hosted AI, Provider Subscription, and Provider API conceptually separate because allowance and billing come from different places.
04
Connect applications
Connect only the applications the Space needs and grant the smallest practical permission scope.
05
Create an agent
Package instructions, runtime/model sources, knowledge, data, tools, skills, memory behavior, and permissions into a reusable agent.
06
First conversation
Start with a bounded question, inspect the sources used, and verify any consequential action before approval.
