Outborn Agent Platform · Step-by-step guide
Approvals and audit
Understand pending actions, decisions, and the activity trail across agents and connected systems.
Before you begin
- Have an authorized reviewer and a pending proposal in the correct organization.
Follow the workflow
- 01
Open the proposal
Read the requested action, target, inputs, initiating agent, and expected impact.
- 02
Make the decision
Approve or reject in the configured approval surface; a message in chat is not a substitute.
- 03
Confirm the outcome
Inspect execution and audit history to distinguish a recorded approval from an action that completed successfully.
The decision and actual execution outcome can be traced to the authorized workflow.
Check reviewer role, policy, proposal state, connection health, and execution history.
Applied guidance
Best practices for approvals and audit
Recommended
- Check target, inputs, expected impact, and requester before deciding.
- Verify the execution result after approval and retain the decision trail.
Avoid
- Do not assume an approval recorded in chat satisfies the configured proposal workflow.
01
Review a pending action
Open the approval request and inspect its source, target, inputs, and proposed effect. Approval policies and authorized reviewers determine whether the action can continue.
02
Record a decision
Approve or reject only after checking the proposal. A chat message saying an action is approved does not itself replace the configured approval flow.
03
Inspect activity
Use product audit and execution history to understand requests, tool activity, outcomes, and approval decisions. Optional exports may be configured for operations teams.
