Canonical file identity
Search one library while preserving the source truth. Exact checksum matches, provider-exact matches, and conservative probable matches build one logical-file story without hiding where the bytes actually live.
Stop opening five apps to find one file. Obsi Drive connects the storage accounts you already use, recognizes the same file across locations, and lets you protect only what deserves an independent copy.
Not another storage drive
Traditional storage asks you to copy everything into another silo. Obsi Drive starts with visibility: where each file lives, which locations are the same, which copy is protected, and what actually costs you money.
One logical file · every location still visibleSearch one library while preserving the source truth. Exact checksum matches, provider-exact matches, and conservative probable matches build one logical-file story without hiding where the bytes actually live.
Keep eligible files linked for zero protected-byte usage, then create one independent Obsi Drive copy when ownership or resilience is worth it. Exact protected duplicates reuse the same physical object.
Inactive files move only when a separately configured archive backend beats Standard storage after expected holding and restore costs—not because a label says “cold.”
Connect → understand → protect
The user journey is intentionally progressive: get immediate visibility first, build confidence from canonical matches, then spend protected storage only where it adds value.
Multiple source accounts can participate without forcing a bulk copy into Obsi Drive.
Canonical identity keeps every source visible while showing what is truly duplicated and what is only probably similar.
Protect selected files once, reuse exact bytes, and move cold data only when the economics pass.
A real rendered workspace
The sample below uses the same dashboard component model as Obsi Drive. Search, filter sources, open folders, preview files, and move through the mobile surface without touching real user data.
One governed file layer
Human storage and developer traffic have different cost profiles. Obsi Drive treats them differently instead of pretending every request is included forever.
Connect multiple accounts, surface duplicates, protect selected files, and keep collaboration and ownership context attached to the workspace.

Pricing that matches the architecture
Plans govern protected storage, connected source accounts, ingress, proxied transfer, and API usage separately. That keeps the value proposition simple without hiding the cost model.

Questions before connecting
Obsi Drive is intentionally explicit about what remains linked, what becomes protected, and what can create variable cost.
No. Obsi Drive becomes useful by connecting and indexing the storage you already use first. Durable linked files stay at their provider until you intentionally protect a copy.
Yes. Governed plans support multiple source accounts. Reconnecting the same account updates that connection instead of intentionally consuming another slot.
Google Photos uses the Picker flow. You explicitly select media and Obsi Drive imports protected copies while the Picker session is valid; it does not pretend short-lived Picker URLs are durable linked files.
One logical file can have several locations. Obsi Drive keeps those locations visible together, uses exact hashes when available, and treats probable duplicate matches conservatively.
Storage, ingress, proxied transfer, API usage, processing, and connected-account capacity are tracked separately, with hard plan limits and spend safeguards.
Start with what you already have
Use Obsi Drive as the canonical library across existing storage first, then protect only the files that deserve an independent copy.
